She was born on January 6, 1922, the daughter of Earnie and Marie Morgan in Evart, Michigan.
They moved to Hastings area and she attended Hastings High School graduating in 1939.
She married Clinton Brill on December 14, 1942. He preceded her in death in December 1989.
Virginia’s employment included Barry County Abstract Office and Hastings Manufacturing Company retiring in 1974.
She attended Hastings Free Methodist Church. A loving mother, devoted grandmother, excellent cook, she enjoyed spending time with her family and her flower garden.
Surviving are three sons, John and his wife Carol, of Kendall, Thomas and his wife Linda, of Rapid River, James and his wife Elaine of Hastings, nine grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, sisters-in-law, Frances Morgan, Ingrid Wilson-Morgan, Jean Morgan of Hastings; several nieces and nephews.
Preceding Virginia in death was her husband, Clinton Brill; son, David Brill; parents, Earnie and Marie Morgan; sister, Alice Wood; brothers, Milo Morgan, James Morgan, and William Morgan; and sister-in-law, June Morgan.
Virginia’s family will receive friends on Monday May 14, 2018 from 10 AM until the service time of 11 AM at the Hastings Free Methodist Church, 2635 N M43 Highway, Hastings, MI with Rev. Brian Teed officiating. Private interment will follow in Dowling Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a missionary of your choice or Barry County Commission on Aging Meals on Wheels.
